History of smartwatch
The android wear smartwatch is one type of smartphones. Smartwatch provides touchscreen interface. Moreover, it provides so many features like calculator, camera, alarm. In June 2000, IBM launched the first smartwatch. It works on Linux. The battery capacity of this smartwatch was only 6 hours, which was later extended 12 hours. It also provides calendar, Bluetooth, 8 MB RAM and 16 MB of flash memory. After three years later Fossil launched the Wrist PDA. It works on Palm OS. The flash memory of this android watch was only 4 MB and 8 MB of RAM. Resolution of the watch was 160*160 pixels. Which was less reliable compared to IBM watch. In the same year, Microsoft announced the SPOT smartwatch. Which was launched in early 2004. SPOT stands for smart personal objects technology. The pixel size of this watch was 90*126. SPOT technology was very famous for that era. Therefore, Tissot and Fossil also work on that technology and sold so many watches.
In 2010, Sony Ericsson announced the Sony Ericsson LiveView watch. They put new features in this watch such as Tracking GPS, medicine reminder, emergency alert and also show health with cellular. Furthermore, Motorola launched MOTOACTV In November 2011. The watch will display calendar alert, text messages, and caller ID when it connects to the phone. After one year later, Pebble Technology Corporation launched their first android wear smartwatch, which was known as Pebble. It Supports two platform Android and iOS. Pebble new steel body look released on February 2014.it also provide Corning Gorilla Glass. In 2015, Apple also launched iOS smartwatch. This smartwatch only connected an iOS device(Apple iPhone).

Pebble watch use ultra-low-power "Transflective LCD".It has a 144*168 pixel size. Other interesting features like three-axis accelerometer, vibrating motor, backlight, ambient light sensor. It can also be connected with an iOS and Android device using both Bluetooth 4.0 and Bluetooth 2.1. In February 2014, pebble application reached 1000 downloaded. The application included stock prices, activity tracking, remote control for home applications, smartphones and cameras and it also notification support for Email, calls, social media activity, and text messages.

In September 2013, three new Android watches have been launched; Sony Smartwatch 2, Samsung Galaxy Gear and the Qualcomm Toq. Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch support all galaxy smartphone and tablets which run Android 4.3 or newer. The attracting feature is super AMOLED touchscreen display with pixel density of 277 PPI(Pixel per inch). It also contains 1.9-megapixel camera with a Back-illuminated sensor, 720p video recording, and auto-focus.

It has also included 4 GB of internal memory, 512 MB of RAM. The Galaxy Gear contains a 312 mAH battery. The device is designed to IP55(International protecting marketing) feature with dust resistance and water exposure. The device consumed low energy when we used Bluetooth. It contains SVoice and it used for basic voice commands and voice dictation. We can find our phone or tablets with the help of "Find My Device" tool. Users can also be answered phone calls and placed from the watch. The device record 15-second video length and take photos. Users can store video or photos to the device's internal storage.
